ABOUT JESSICA
Pilates has been in my life since I was a teenager aspiring to become a professional dancer. My appreciation for Pilates grew throughout my dance training and dance career. When I decided it was time for a career change my enjoyment and intrigue of Pilates was the natural choice. I love to work with different body types and find Pilates the perfect way to access movement for all different kinds of bodies no matter the age/ gender or mobility. Since becoming a Pilates teacher I have worked with a huge variety of people- from dancers (including children) people working through injuries, those that are brand new to exercise, antenatal and fitness fanatics. When I'm not freelancing I can also be found in a London Reformer Pilates studio. Most recently I've been spending a lot of time at home (as has everyone else!) with my little boy (grateful for my Pilates strength as he is a bit of a chunk). I have also been enjoying teaching Pilates/ dance and even sign language online via zoom sessions!

Jess is one of a kind. Being a long-time outdoor bootcamp devotee I was deeply sceptical about how Pilates would contribute to my fitness/general wellbeing. A friend persuaded me to try it and we joined one of Jess’s classes near our office. I loved it so much I started attending weekly. When I changed jobs, I used to get up at the crack of dawn to fit the class in before travelling across London to my office. Now that I’m based outside London, I try to work my schedule around her classes. She is that good. Her rhythm in the classes gives you momentum (if you’re lucky, she sings!) and she knows just how hard she can push you. Each class is different which keeps you interested. She recognises if you have improved in a particular exercise and is so encouraging that she makes you want to work harder to improve further. I honestly can’t recommend her enough.

Jess’ Pilates classes are amazing, she brings so much energy to each class and is both encouraging and pushes you when needed. The classes are always varied and really challenging but with plenty of options for different levels and a good relaxing stretch at the end. I finish every class feeling both exhausted and energised (and great). I can’t recommend her classes enough!
